Way back in the olden days when I used to play in a band called Nancy Vandal we would circulate word of our alleged greatness any way we could. This was pre-internet however and space age tools like Linkedin and Myspace where the stuff of science fiction authors and time travel exponents. One of our main P.R. methods was to put together a dodgey photocopied newsletter with forthcoming gig dates, plus a few cartoons and/or articles significantly derivative of Viz magazine. It was called The Vandal's Voice and as the years passed it became significantly more complex, eventually taking the form of a zine. There have been 8 issues in all, and as part of the recently announced Nancy Vandal reunion, I'm going to do a 9th! This will be the biggest edition yet - A spectacular 90 page full colour affair that will rank alongside Moby Dick and Catch 22 as one of the finest literary works ever produced by a human being. Don't believe me? Well check out this work in progress cover illustration. I bet you're feeling stupid now.
